各位晚上好
Good evening, everyone.

今晚我们在这里颁发
We are here tonight to recognize

2017年“女王的青年领袖”奖
our Queen's Young Leaders for 2017.<br><br>“女王的青年领袖”项目于2014年启动<br>The Queen's Young Leaders program was launched in 2014,

为了纪念女王陛下
in honor of Her Majesty the Queen's<br><br>60年来为英联邦的付出<br>60 years of service to the Commonwealth.<br><br>我很高兴能在三年之后站在这里<br>I'm excited to stand here three years later

说这个项目的提名名单
to say that the nominations for this program

年复一年地增加
has grown year after year,

对于今年的获奖者

To this year's winners,

你门的服务跨越了广阔的领域
your service spans a broad spectrum of fields

从解决校园霸凌问题
from tackling bullying in schools

到保护环境
to preserving the environment

以及在社会上创业去支持那些
and social entrepreneurship to supporting those

正在照顾患有痴呆症家人的人
who are caring for a family member with dementia

这里仅举几例
to name just a few.

你们已经激励了很多人
You have already been an inspiration to so many,

but I hope this award will motivate you

在未来取得更大的成就
to go out and achive even greater things in the future,

empowered by the network of leaders you now sit amongst.

你们每个人都证明了
Each of you are proof that

one person can in fact make a tremendous difference,

并和所有人一起改变世界
and together change the world.

英联邦代表了
The Commonwealth represents

世界人口的近三分之一
nearly 1/3 of the world's population.

而且这是超过10亿的30岁以下的

And it's home to over a billion young people

年轻人的家园
under the age of 30.

These young people are already tackling

许多现如今最紧迫的问题
many of today's most pressing issues,

and will be the creative minds to take on

the biggest challenges we all face in the future.

It's our job,

those of us who can no longer hand on heart

call ourselves young

to create a platform where we can listen

to the next generation

and empower them to act.

The queen who assumed the challenge of leadership

at such a young age herself

of selfless commitment and service.
