Today's business phrase is“fat cat.”For example“The fat cats in the City don't care for small and family business.”The phrase 'fat cat' is used to describe wealthy and successful business people. 

These people are usually the  C-E-O's of large corporations and multi-national companies. We use the term in a slightly negative way to talk about someone who is NOT in the conversation.

Other examples may include:“Having more power and money is a fat cat's dream.”“I work hard for a living while the fat cats take it easy.”However,  something to remember. In polite conversation, we do not directly address aperson as a “fat cat.”
