Today's English phrase is "can you point?" When you arrive at your destination but you're not sure where the exact place is and you may think you're lost you might ask someone nearby to help you in this way:

“Can you point the way to the Hilton Hotel, please?”Or“Can you point me to the Hilton Hotel, please?”Or“Can you point out where the Hilton Hotel is, please?”The use for this phrase is similar to “Can you tell me?

However, when using “Can you point?” you intend for the person to give you a direction to the place you're going. It is all right to use this phrase in business and casual conversations.

A business usage might be: "Can you point out exactly how this works in this example?”This kind of question usually works well in most English speaking countries.
