港中大全额奖学金邀请姜萍？最新回应

近日，17岁中专在读女生姜萍以排名第12位的预赛成绩“爆冷”闯入全球数学竞赛决赛。17岁、中专生、服装设计专业……姜萍被网友惊呼为“天才少女”。

据媒体报道，姜萍来自江苏涟水中等专业学校的服装设计专业，她花了两年自学高等数学，是这项全球数学竞赛举办以来首位闯进决赛的中专在读生，也是前30名里唯一的女生，与她并肩进入决赛的参赛者，多来自北大清华等知名高校。

A 17-year-old fashion design student has garnered widespread attention in China for making it to the final of an Alibaba-backed global math competition. With her background of studying at a Jiangsu-based vocational senior secondary school, her humble background makes her stand out against the other finalists who hailed from prestigious schools such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and MIT.

Ranked 12th out of a total of 801 finalists, Jiang Ping, who spent two years self-studying partial differential equations, was also the only female in the top 30, according to Alibaba.

香港中文大学回应：消息不实

“姜萍能否就读优质高校，有没有可能被破格录取？”的相关话题也引发了大量网友的讨论和猜测，其中有消息称“目前香港中文大学已经向姜萍递出橄榄枝，招生办正在积极联系中，并表示该校数学系主任是偏微分方向的业内大牛，更适合姜同学”。还有消息称“香港中文大学不但郑重邀请姜萍入读，还开出了全额奖学金的条件”。

6月15日，香港中文大学入学及学生资助处工作人员向记者表示，香港中文大学邀请姜萍的消息不实，“经核实，香港中文大学入学及学生资助处并没有相关的资讯或计划，也并未主动联络过该位同学。”

The staff of the Admissions and Financial Aid Office at The Chinese University of Hong Kong informed reporters on Saturday that the news of inviting Jiang Ping is untrue. "Upon verification, the Admissions and Financial Aid Office of The Chinese University of Hong Kong does not have any related information or plans, nor have they contacted this student proactively," the staff member stated.

该工作人员表示，香港中文大学一直致力于吸引来自全球各地的优秀学生加入，具体的招生工作均是根据已公布的招生政策和程序进行。

The university remains committed to attracting outstanding students from around the world, and all admissions activities are conducted in accordance with the published policies and procedures.

记者发现，浙江大学在6月14日对于是否可以破格录取姜萍的问题做出了回应，表示需要遵循相应的程序，目前无法作出答复。在此前的媒体采访中，姜萍的数学老师王闰秋提到，由于专业限制，姜萍只能考虑江苏省内的三所高校，最理想的选择是申请到常熟理工学院。

Zhejiang University responded to inquiries on Friday about potentially admitting Jiang Ping out of turn, stating they must follow proper procedures and cannot provide an answer currently. Jiang Ping's math teacher, Wang Runqiu, previously mentioned due to academic restrictions, Jiang Ping can only consider three local universities in Jiangsu, with the top choice being Changshu Institute of Technology.

与此同时，6月14日，常熟理工学院官方微博发文称，“恭喜姜萍同学在阿里巴巴全球数学竞赛中取得佳绩，祝愿你在此后的决赛中取得更好成绩！非常期待小姜同学未来报考常熟理工学院服装设计与工程专业。我们建议可以先来常熟理工打好扎实的本科基础，硕士阶段到浙江大学继续深造。杭州和苏州很近，我们学校会全力以赴帮助你实现梦想。”
