背景知识：

《尤利西斯》是爱尔兰意识流文学作家詹姆斯·乔伊斯于1922年出版的长篇小说。小说以时间为顺序，描述了主人公，苦闷彷徨的都柏林小市民，广告推销员利奥波德·布卢姆（Leopold Bloom）于1904年6月16日一昼夜之内在都柏林的种种日常经历。小说大量运用细节描写和意识流手法构建了一个交错凌乱的时空，语言上形成了一种独特的风格。《尤利西斯》是意识流小说的代表作，并被誉为20世纪一百部最佳英文小说之首，每年的6月16日已经被纪念为“布卢姆日”。
