和外教“勾肩搭背”

After reading so many English words in the friends' zones or blogs about their GLV carings in the pass few days, a strong feeling came up in my mind that I gotta get down to writing something about my GLV experience, feelings, and memories, of course in English.I am not writing this for myself but for all of my friends in GLV.

 

Since I got to know Tsing(my colleague) was not going to learn English with me on Jul.13th, I'd been upset for quite a few days. Then, after having talked to Rachel and June on the first day, I found out a truth that everybody was really friendly and nice in GLV even though we were not at the same age level. Age gap would never be a problem for me to stay happy in GLV. You can tell from my treasurable experience in CLASS L5B. On 14th.July, in the early morning, I acted enthuastically as I walked into room A305 and saw Rainie, Alex, Bobo and Tracy sitting around, chatting. I said HELLO  to everyone of them as I was anOLD student there, and they thought I was.

 

To get to know a new friend, a good self-introduction is a must. That's it, I prepared my own and it worked so well to give my classmates a good impression of me at their first sight. I did not care about what my first image and what it would be like, because I knew that they would know my true essential after a long-term being together. Of course I was right very much, they all liked me very much so as I wished i could stay longer with them when I left by the end of that session, but this kind of impossibility would never have happened to me cos' I got my own things to handle afterwards.

God has got to be moved by my prayers, he let me be in a wonderful class full of lovely classmates. Tracy was an OLD student there alone. Except her, I was the eldest guy among the new folks. Lucky, Rainie, Yvone, Bobo were all beautiful university girls who had a great interest in English, I can tell in their eyes. Jason, a DG young fellow from DalingShan supprised me a lot, because as far as I knew, there would not be many DG students who would say that they "love English", but Jason did say those words to me, he was the first one. Alex, a cute HuNan high school graduate, was going to be a freshman in a university，somewhere. Natalie and Frieda were still fighting about their high school study, they were clever girls.

 

Amit was just our morning class teacher, he would not show up in any elective classes or workshops and evening programs except one time in Zuber's dancing class. He once was there and danced with Vegas, a shout-loud American guy, Lucky took a video of their sexy dance which made me laugh all day long. I would love to dance, but I wasn't there, what a pity. Amit taught us a lot of his own experience in life, much more than English knowledge. We loved him for his kindness and love for us. He said when we skipped the evening program and went out to YeLi Island, that he hadn't been out of GLV and with any students, we were the first group. What a sweet love he showed to us !! To prove that, he also led us to eat pizza on the afternoon of the second friday.

Now, let me reck my brain to think of the most memorable classes or programmes I have ever attended in GLV. Yes, July 14th, the first day I had the evening programme in Zuber's class, and I earned 5 peace dollars from him. I said one special sentence which earned me 3 peace dollars, it must have been the most expensive sentence that was ever said by students in GLV. For god's sake, Zuber loved my words and thought that I was a good student. Ya, I was of course.Then, it came up to be the drama night in Kevin's program, what a crazy night, I got to realize Lucky，Sylvia & Lancer's craziness on that night. We were in one group and made up our own movie script & lines and acted it out, the whole room was full of happiness and laughter. After this class, Lucky was becoming more and more popular in GLV for her craziness,that's how she got her new nickname---CRAZY GIRL. Of course,I got to know a true Sylvia after that, and we also became good friends like Lucky and Jason. Then, Munisa's gonna be the next teacher to be talked about,not only because of her beauty and special relation with Amit,but also because of her kindness and humor. She always smiled to every student in her class. We talked about the differences between men & women. With Lucky and me present, the elective class went on with a great deal of laughter.

 

Leaving GLV was a sad thing for most of the students, but it happens to everyone of us finally. Now, if someone ask me how much have I learned in GLV, I would like to tell him/her:" too much to tell, go and find out the answer by yourself".

 

The knowledge of English I learned from GLV is limited, but the knowledge and the spirit of life I've got to understand afterwards is uncountable.
