    Most Chinese students can’t open their mouths and it is a very difficult for them to understand their teacher’s meaning.

 

In Chinese school, the students study English from first grade but study vocabulary and write but cannot speak and listen. The students read the text and study English grammar in the lesson so that they have more skills for English test and writing. The Chinese teacher only speaks two English sentences per lesson. The first is “good morning” the second is “Goodbye”. How can we improve our skills of speaking and listening in this way?

    In some English centers, like GLV, the English teacher comes from many different places in the world. They have different accents and different cultures that this makes it very difficult for students to understand the teacher’s meaning. Some English teacher from Asia and other areas. For example, Indian teacher can’t clearly read [t]-[d], [g]-[k]. For them, these sounds have the same pronunciation with different cultures and different countries; sometimes we can’t understand even simple sentences.
