Dear Roel,

    I want to invite you to visit my hometown, if you’re free .As you know, my hometown is in Wuhan, which is the biggest city in mid-China. It is located beside of Changjiang river——the mother river of China!

    It’s a very beautiful place, if you want to go there, I will introduce more details.

    Wuhan is composed of three towns: Wuchang, Hanyang and Hankou, located there.

    Wuhan is famous for education. About 20 colleges and universities are located there. Wuhan university is a key university in China. It’s also the most beautiful one in China, due to its housing style and oriental cherries. Every spring, all flowers are in bloom. Most people, not only locals, but also others from all over the country, come here to enjoy the beautiful scene.

    Can you image when seeing the old style of house in the midst of white flowers? Everywhere there are white and beautiful oriental cherries. How wonderful it is!

    Behind Wuhan university, there is a very big and famous lake, named ‘East Lake’! Maybe you have traveled to Hangzhou, and enjoyed West Lake’s beauty. How can you imagine a lake that is three times bigger than West Lake and more natural than it?

    All this is in Wuchang!

    Hanyang is a main in industrial field. There is a famous temple——Guiyuan Temple. If you want to travel there, I can be your guider.

    Hankou is Wuhan’s business centre. There, you can visit Hanzhen Street, which is the most famous whole sale market for small products in China. Maybe you will find some business information from there.

    So, the best time to travel to Wuhan is in April, when the oriental cherry is in bloom. And it will not have a very high temperature as well.

汉阳是一个主要的工业领域，这里有个著名的庙宇——桂园寺。如果你想去旅游，我可以成为你的向导。

汉口是武汉的商业中心。在那里，你可以走访汉正大街，它是中国著名的小商品批发市场。也许在那儿你会发现一些商机。
