        On Feb, 28th, 2009, some of our GLV staffs and students were asked to help the Zhuhai government be the volunteering translator for the about 22 consuls from Guangzhou. I was more than glad and very lucky to be one of our members!
        2009年02月28日，我们珠海平和英语学校的部分员工和学员受到珠海市政府的委托, 作为22国驻穂(广州)领事的翻译员的志愿者。我深感荣幸成为这么多志愿者中的一位!

        We got together about 9:40am at GLV, later arrived at Zhuhai Haibin (Seashore) Park near 10:00 am.
        我们于早上9：40分左右在学校集合，后来在约10点钟到达珠海海滨公园。

        First, we took the tools for planting trees from the government officer Min and Ou, then we all came to our certain places waiting for the consuls come.
        首先, 我们从政府工作人员闵主任与欧小姐的手中领了种树的工具， 然后我们都来到各自指定的位置等待领事门的到来。

        At about 11:00am, seeing the consuls come to the consular planting trees area where we stood, I was very excited! I introduced myself to French Consul General and his wife, who were asked to be severed by me. And we chatted a little about ourselves, I found them really very nice people!
        在大约11点半左右, 我见到领事们缓缓地向我们这边的领事植树林走来, 别提心里有多高兴了! 我向我接待的法国总领事和他的夫人介绍了我自己。我们还聊了一会儿彼此的情况, 谈话的过程中, 我感到他们很友好。

        After their planting trees, we took photos, and said goodbye to each other.
        在他们的植树完成后, 我们还一起合了影，对彼此说了再见。

        Today’s really a special day for me to remember! I want to thank one of my best friends a lot! He encouraged me “be myself” when I communicate with the consuls the day before the planting trees day, and I think that helped me a lot! Because only if we can “be ourselves”, we can carry out the communication with others naturally, and that will make all of us feel comfortable!
        今天对于我来说真是不平凡的一天! 我非常感谢我的一位好朋友！在植树的前一天他鼓励我在领事们面前表现出我平常的一面！我认为他的这句话对我那天很有用! 因为只有我们能够在别人面前表现出我们平常的一面， 我们才能够与别人交流自如，并且这能使我们交流起来都感到舒服、自然！

        That’s what I learnt on the tree planting day! I appreciate GLV gave me this chance and my friend’s encouragement a lot!
        以上是我从植树的一天所学到与感受到的! 我非常感谢珠海平和英语学校给我这次难得的交流机会以及我好朋友对我的鼓励!
