Be with someone 有两个意思：

这里with是understand（理解）的意思。

If someone says that they are with you, they mean that they understand what you are saying.

 be with someone  另一个意思是支持，这里with指的是

support/have one's back (表示态度支持, 赞同。)


Is he with us or against us?

他赞成我们还是反对我们?


Are you with me 你们支持我吗？

Yes, we are with you all the way!（是的。我们全力支持你！）
